SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE

Church can be an intimidating place to visit — especially if you don’t know what to expect. We invite you to experience what the Gospel means both intellectually and relationally at our Sunday worship service. You can engage with others as much as you want, or remain anonymous if you prefer. We hope that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Church gathers at 10:30 and has a very broad range of people. The worship experience is a mix of historic and scriptural liturgies and songs, often updated into modern modes.

Service begins with a time of Adoration as we prepare our hearts for worship, participate in reading a call to worship, and sing songs of praise.

We move to a time of Transformation, where read a confession and silently confess, continue to sing, and offer prayer requests before joining in the Lord's Prayer.

After that we have Proclamation with the a scripture reading and sermon.

We close in Response with offering, communion, a song, and benediction.

SERVING AT A GATHERING

Though each Christian has a personal relationship with God, that relationship is not individual or private. The Christian faith is not intended to be lived in isolation. We were made to live in fellowship with God and with each other. The local church is not merely a place that we attend but a people to whom we belong. We usually have a few people show up early to greet and invite people from the shelters and streets.  We often have coffee hour after, and always need volunteers.  There are other places to share your gifts for teaching, worship, or leading as well.
